Ответ:Edward: - Jane told me, that you liked some types of extreme sport. Could you describe your feelings and emotions when you get an adrenaline rush? What is I like?

Patrick: - I might express this thing in three words: speed, excitement, danger. I find all these feelings in different extreme sports that have become popular within last 10 years. Bungee jumping, for instance. You jump off a high bridge and then you fall and fall. But then, just before you start to dread the thought of your pain when you hit the ground or water, an elastic rope pulls you back. It is the thrill of a lifetime!

Edward: - That sounds great! Does it make you scared?

Patrick: - to be honest, yes, it does. When something is scary you and your body determines the threat to be actual to yourself it produces a hormone that makes your heart rate increase, along with your breathing. It provides you with a lot of stamina. People call it adrenaline.

Edward: - I’m going to start riding on yacht, but it doesn’t look dangerous. However, my dad supposes that it also might make my blood boil.

Patrick: - He is absolutely right. You’re getting a new sort of addiction during your mini-crossing and it makes you die-hard and invulnerable any more. But if you do it the first few times, you should be saved by the special insurance cover and instructor.

Edward: - What does adrenaline do for us? I mean, how could it help us?

Patrick: - It pays a great contribution to stabilizing your heart rate at specific times. It also acts as a danger identificator. Adrenaline is the emotional gland of the body. We get angry because of adrenaline; we get sad because of adrenaline. It gives you your emotions and lets you be a human being.

Edward: - So, it plays a great part in our lives. We could do unbelievable things thanks to this hormone: to lift a car, to hide or fight, to remember things from childhood, to survive, etc. This is a perfect thing!бъяснение:
